3D Mark Basic Edition is a software which was designed by Futuremark and it has the function of measuring performance while one is playing a game on his computer. Presently this software is not available on all the operating systems, but the designers have assured that over time the software will be available on more operating systems than it currently is. Presently, it is available on the android as well as the windows operating systems.
3D Mark Basic Edition can be installed quite quickly on the computer and after installation, it provides the user with windows and instructions on how to conduct various tests which the user wants to conduct on their computers. It is advisable to read and follow the instructions to the letter to be able to navigate the way around this interesting package.
While installing this software, there are three different skins or environments where the software does its testing. Tests are usually done for different parameters. During the installation of the 3D Mark Basic Edition, the software provides the user with advanced options which helps the user to perform certain functions. The software after conducting the different tests then displays results. Stress testing can also be done by the software using loop benchmarks.

Cloud Gate and Ice Storm tests are now hidden in the app by default. If needed, you can find them by going to the Benchmarks screen and using the filter option to "Show unsupported tests."|
