The BD Rebuilder software requires Avisynth and FFDShow to function accordingly. The program supports custom-sized discs, BD-25, DVD-9, and DVD-5.
This software application that is used for reducing the size of Blu-ray clips and backing up DVD movies features a simplistic and user-friendly interface. Tools and options are easy to access and some of the functions you can perform are to assess the video, audio and subtitle streams contained in the disc movie, select a source drive and choose a target location.
The BD Rebuilder supports batch processing. You can therefore expedite the entire process by preparing multiple jobs for sequential execution. There is also a “save job” capability that allows you to save the whole project to a file and complete the task later.
This software application also boats of post-task options, encoding settings, and multiple backup modes. You can configure the application to create a full backup. The resulting product will be the exact copy of the original disc. Other backup options that are offered with the BD Rebuilder are the movie-only backup and quick-play backup. The different backup tasks each take a different amount of time to compete.
You can choose your preferred subtitle language and audio track and eliminate the ones you don’t want. The application also allows you to customize the encoding options according to your requirements. Other formats that can be applied to your video include changing the view mode, resizing the video, deinterlace or convert the video to HD and retain the original HD setting of the video while setting the setting up the system to skip DTS-to-AC3 conversions and also skip AC3 re-encoding.

Added the ASS/SSA subtitle format to those supported during import (converts to SRT).
Fixed an error during import in which weird source size could result in an AddBorders() filter appendix that causes encode failure (YV12 AddBorders parameters must be MOD2).

Automatic conversion to AVC will occur during import.
Made changes to the way VFR is handled on import. Now it is converted, during import, to CFR. Avoids annoying desync, and makes handling much cleaner.
Added new hidden option. IMPORT_VFR_FILM see HIDDENOPTS.TXT) allows you to choose between importing VFR sources to FILM or VIDEO (23.976/29.97 fps) rates.
