Isao Maruka created Pixia. In addition to the Japanese central interface it is also available in English, French, Italian, Spanish, Hungarian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Polish, Korean and German. The program supports several levels, transparency effects, standard file formats and various RGB file formats and PSD. The primary file extension used by this program is PXA. The program also provides integrated support for Wacom tables, such as version 4.2a, which supports Wacom Bamboo tablets. An extended version of this Phierha software with an improved user interface and other functions is also available.
Pixia supports the most common editing methods. However, we noticed that the surface is a bit old fashioned and needed a certain amount of time to personalise.
Pixia is one of the most popular drawing tools in Japan. Like other free image editing programs, Pixia allows you to create digital art and supports layer editing, selective cancellations and selection of brushes and tools for artists.
When you create a new canvas or a session, your choice is simple: set the size of the image in pixels, inches or millimetres, or choose a preset size from the drop-down menu. When you start drawing, the "advanced settings" will start to make more sense. You can specify that the right mouse button will use as an "undo" handle, which allows you to remove specific changes from the last drawing action. The Dropper configuration will enable artists to quickly switch between colours, which is useful when working with 2D art.
Pixia uses pop-ups to configure elements such as filters and masks. The small buttons with the inscription P, C, O, L are expandable panels for the palette, colour, pen and layer configurations.
However, Wacom users praised it for its simple user interface although at first glance it is not apparent. It is ideal for everyone, except for most versions, and, of course, the price of "nothing" is a desirable benefit.
Benefits
Pixia is still in the culture of small and medium businesses and will be successful in the same job as you. If you are looking for a 9-5 where you can be a drone, Pixia is not for you.
Disadvantages
The tendency to establish "trophies" that make life complicated and difficult for everyone.
