The TNTatlas is one of the best and powerful geodata viewers which is free and allows one to publish and distribute the maps and various other geospatial data to complex map data that are prepared using the TNTmips. Basically, the TNTatlas would allow one to show the various massive geodata and get it somewhat directly shown in various file formats such as GeoTiff, PNG, shapefiles, DXF, MrSID, DWG, etc.
TNTatlas is available from the Microlmages for showing the hierarchical atlases that are prepared in TNTmips with a single layout atlases or Hyperindex Linker. Frankly, there are two kinds of TNTatlas – one is for a Window product like TNTatlas which is apt for Windows and another one is Microlmages X Server (MI/X) known as TNTatlas.
Both of the versions have or at least have the same atlas data that is without any modifications. It is easy to install the TNTatlas and the given interface components of the TNTatlas are quite interactive. The tool has got good navigational aspects like navigating laterally and down. Plus there are some hidden layers and the map scale visibility is controlled and it is easy to view the database information. One can use the web links through attributes and there is the LegendView which even has the raster histograms and various hotkeys.
