The first notable thing about VLC Media Player is its simple, compact, and pleasant. The well-structured interface compliments its brilliant performance. VLC is not just a program that plays music and videos. It has more capabilities, which is something unique, which stands out. Users can enjoy their favorite content through the innate interface.
This software has faster and more efficient decoding abilities. It also supports BluRay and high definition content. It is light, flexible and fast, this makes its use popular across the globe. The media player is vast in its capabilities. First, it is able to play an array of formats for both the audio and video. These formats include MP3, 3GP, MP4, AVI, MPEG, FLAC, Digital TV just to name a few. This makes VLC stand out because it enables the user to have freedom of choice and variety of formats.
The original settings of VLC consist of a proliferation of encoding and decoding libraries that are free. This makes the consumers life easy because they do not go through the trouble of adjusting and finding plug-ins. In addition, VLC Media Player features the libavcodec, which is a library of various codecs to enable playing of various files. VLC also supports multi-threaded decoding for H.264, WedM and 4/Xvid. There is also support for 10-bit codecs.
Previewing is much better, thanks to VLC’s capability of playing incomplete parts of the downloaded file. The tool can integrate streaming services from various platforms. Users can access their favorite streaming channels. This offers a great selection of channels and getting there is simple, simply right-click on the menu and make a selection. All the streaming sites will emerge on the media player’s playlist. There are various channels and categories to make a selection.
A great hot key support is what makes navigating this program so easy. It also has control capabilities without touching the mouse. VLC also supports easy addition of subtitles to video file. The process involves adding the SRT storage file, in seconds the subtitles will be played. The interface is very attractive and gives this software a cleaner and smoother appearance. There are more skins and extras online.
