When using Network Monitor II, You can check out the traffic rate of the network and IP address information on your PC even without other monitoring tools of network. This widget has an interface which can be customized, you can change the displayed information and its size. By default, there are 2 styles that are available to use, but you have option to change the colors so it can match to whatever color you have on your desktop. Restoring the default color just in case you didn’t like what you did just takes a click of a button.
Local IP, outer IP address, current upload and download rate, and network usage are some of the information that this widget displays. Here, you can also check your bandwidth usage, this is best for people who want to limit their bandwidth usage. This widget also has a traffic counter which automatically saves information once the widget is shut down.
If you want extended information that is connected with network interface like the DNS server of the computer, internet gateway, or MAC address, you can check the info button provided by the widget. By hovering your mouse cursor on a flag which is seen on the right side, you will see detailed information about the owner of the IP address.
Installing the program is so easy, aside from that, it has a fun and awesome user interface. You will totally love every moment you spend using the Network Monitor II. If you love messing around configuring stuff, then you might enjoy configuring this program. Just click on the button named configure and you will see six tabs, here, you can configure the program to your liking. You can see the network interface collection and connection type on the first tab which is the main tab. The Mode tab, which is the second tab will let you use NetLib.dll which is used for counting option. You can find some other stuff in the next tabs, there are options about history scale type, resetting traffic counters, bar scaling and saving traffic counters. You can also hide stuff like Net usage string, speed numbers, graphics, bars, and also external and internal IP strings.
